We are seeking applications to undertake a Production Automation Development role to improve efficiencies and develop Industry 1.0 applications for the manufacturing process. To be considered for this newly created position,, you will have completed a Bachelor’s degree in a mechatronics field within the last 2 years and have a passion for manufacturing automation and system integration. Experience or knowledge about robotics and having a skill set that enables you to conceptualise and implement automated processes will be highly regarded.

Who We’re Looking For

Reporting and working under the guidance of the Technical Director you will have the ability to work autonomously with a key focus on achieving outcomes and managing timelines. Your ability to work in a small team environment whilst demonstrating a high level of technical aptitude and problem-solving skill sets will be highly desirable.

We require a team player with a desire to work with-in a supported team environment with a focus to improve overall production efficiencies through conceptualisation and implementation of automated assembly, QA testing and system integration.

You will need

• A postgraduate degree in the field of Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics having graduated in the last two years.
• A Strong Mechanical aptitude.
• Experience with National Instruments LabView or similar programming know-how.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Eagerness to further education in new technologies and software solutions
• Basic understanding of Electronics Hardware design and firmware desirable.
